MailChimp updated their product suite to support the new GDPR regulation, which goes into effect on May 25, 2018.

  • GDPR-friendly forms that allow to easily contacts’ consent
  • Separating checkboxes on the form so contacts can choose whether to opt in to each element of your marketing
  • To keep record of collected consent, MailChimp will also keep a record of what each version of your form says, recording exactly which fields were present on a form when it was submitted by a contact

MailChimp has also certified to the EU-U.S. Privacy Shield Framework and Swiss-U.S. Privacy Shield Framework.
